The children played in a national chess event with over 300 players, some of the children were attending their first chess competition.

Special congratulations to Joseph W for coming third in the under 9 boys section, Joshua Z for winning a rosette, Maiya H and James P for attending their first chess competition, and Jack B for his dedication to chess.
